July 14, 2017 – Managing Partner David Sprinkle was on FOX35 Good Day Orlando discussing the option of working from home. Only about 22% of the employed population works from home. About 40% of people with advanced degrees work from home, less than 30% of people with their bachelors work from home and only 9% of people with less than a high school diploma work from home. Earning a high salary also correspondences with an increased likeliness of working at home.
Key takeaways:
- This is more common with an advanced degree.
- Computer orientated jobs make it easier to work from home.
- Having a productive home office makes one’s boss more likely to agree.
